A Spirit Level is a tool used to indicate how parallel (level) or perpendicular (plumb) a surface is relative to the earth. A spirit level gets its name from the mineral spirit solution inside the levels.

With the digital spirit level, the reading can be accurately read off the display. This allows inclines, slopes, gradients, descents and angles to be calculated with precision. The elecronic spirit level display is usually illuminated and ensures the reading is easy to read in dark conditions.
